Andy Vandeveld is the principal of the Vandeveld Law Firm. Mr. Vandeveld has been an attorney in San Mateo County since 1990. He has successfully represented clients in hundreds Felony and Misdemeanor criminal matters and civil litigation. Known for his aggressive and pragmatic approach, and being well known by judges, attorneys, court staff and police, he successfully achieves the best outcome for his clients.

Mr. Vandeveld recently spent time in the technology industry before moving back to practicing law in the Bay Area where he received an appointment to the San Mateo County Private Defender Program, representing clients in misdemeanor and felony assault and battery, drug cases, domestic violence cases, and alcohol and driving related offenses. He continues to work tirelessly advocating for clients on issues ranging from simple misdemeanors and traffic matters to serious felonies, including attempted murder and serious drug and gun charges.
He has conducted jury trials as well as innumerable court trials, preliminary hearings, evidentiary hearings, probation violation hearings, Domestic Violence Restraining Order hearings and DMV hearings.
